WHY DOES SKIN AGE?

Not everyone knows the importance hyaluronic acid plays in health and well-being of the skin.

Hyaluronic acid is physiologically produced by the body.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of our body’s connective tissues. hyaluronic acid is responsible for skin strength, elasticity and texture. In fact, hyaluronic acid provides hydration that supports collagen fibers for a healthy, toned and hydrated skin.

Over time the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the body’s tissues tends to decrease. Starting at the age of 25, the natural production of hyaluronic acid decreases, causing skin dehydration, imperfections, and wrinkle formation.

Skin ages over time because its capacity to synthetize hyaluronic acid decreases.

Due to the lack of hyaluronic acid, the structure of the skin is altered and wrinkles are formed.

Other factors that influence the body’s aging process are:  time, lifestyle, environmental factors and lack of proper nutrition.

For example, physical activity induces mechanical stress on the joints and may increase inflammation.

Hyaluronic acid is a fundamental component of the synovial fluids and protects the cartilage from wear and tear caused by physical activities.

Lack of hyaluronic acid can decrease our ability to perform certain movements or physical activities.

In these examples, it is helpful to introduce dietary supplements that effectively target different parts of the body to provide nourishment, support and protection to the skin and joints.

Dietary supplements with a targeted action help provide optimal hyaluronic acid replenishment for the skin and joints.
